The engine dies shortly after it was jump started or as soon as the jump starter is disconnected.

The vehicle charging system may not be working (bad alternator, voltage regulator, wiring problem or loose/dirty battery cables). Please seek a mechanic for help. The jump start may also not work correctly for vehicles that require remote battery jumper locations (i.e. battery located in the trunk or other location).
