TYPE S Rim Trim has 3M™ VHB™ (very high bond) adhesive backing. Thoroughly clean the rim / wheel surface area before installation. Once rim / wheel is cleaned of dirt, dust, or grease, wipe it down with isopropyl alcohol and let air dry. Once dry, wipe down the surface area with the included adhesion promoter, then firmly install Rim Trim. Once installed, do not drive the vehicle for 4 hours. The adhesive must cure to the installation surface. Avoid water and car washes for at least 72 hours.
